Colombia: Cultural diversity and territory in production design seminar.

Roundtable 1: Approach to the Territory.

Production designers can approach a territory from multiple perspectives. Sometimes, we use the environment as a starting point to recreate another place or culture. Other times, we immerse ourselves in it with the purpose of representing and highlighting the traditions rooted in that place through the interpretation of a script.

Likewise, we can approach with the intention of observing the current events or reveal the history that is latent in the past. This conversation will address the different ways in which Colombian art departments approach their territory, from the research processes and technical studies of the terrain to the interaction with the different communities of each region.

This event is open to public.

Organized by Diego Garcia, Diana Trujillo, Sara Millán.

About the Organizer:

ATAAC is a non-profit civil association that brings together people who work in different roles within the audiovisual art department; some with extensive experience and others who are beginning their path in consolidating their career, It arises from the need to make our profession visible to the Industry and to recognize each other and exchange experiences, knowledge, and information about our craft.
