Production designers Carmine Guarino, Andrea Castorina and Ludovica Ferrario recount how they transformed famous locations in Lazio (such as Villa Perugini in Fregene, Termini Station and Piazza Vittorio, the historic center of Tivoli, and Tuscania) to adapt them as sets for science fiction, costume, or genre films, or TV series.

The event is hosted by the Roma Lazio Film Commission as part of the Festa Del Cinema Di Roma

About the Organizer:

ASC (Associazione Italiana Scenografi Costumisti e Arredatori) was founded forty years ago with the aim of supporting, defending and promoting design Professionals operating in all areas of Films, Theatre, Television Shows and Series, Opera, Exhibitions, Events, Commercials and Entertainment. Our members are internationally acclaimed, and include many Academy Award nominees and winners such as Dante Ferretti, Francesca Lo Schiavo, Gabriella Pescucci, Milena Canonero and Piero Tosi.

ASC is a non-profit association and is supported by the contributions of Senior and Junior members through their annual fee. ASC’s head office is located within the famous Cinecittà Studios in Rome. Our relationship with the Studios is one of mutual exchange and collaboration. We have helped designing the permanent displays of their Museum and collaborated in various exhibitions and events such as: "Why Cinecittà, Shooting in Cinecittà and Backstage”. After the City of Rome has been nominated by UNESCO as the "City of Creativity and Film Industry,” our Association was invited to work with the Istituto Luce Cinecittà on the project of creating the International Museum of Film and Audiovisual Industry.
