'Infinite Space' is a Brazilian drama directed by Leo Bello and tells the story of Nina (Gabrielle Lopes), a woman who, after being admitted to a psychiatric ward, ends up starting a journey into her own subconscious in a quest to find a path to a shared reality. The film's intention is to present a portrait of topics such as the mental health treatments for psychotic disorders, self-knowledge, the manifestation of the unconscious, symbolism, love and other subjects through the protagonist's perspective and experience.

After the screening there will be a debate analyzing the production design, character construction and development with the actress and crew.

Amanda De Stéfani - Production Designer
Bachelor’s degree in Cinema at FAAP and master’s degree in Interior Design, IED-SP, Amanda De Stéfani has been working in art departments of audiovisual productions since 2005. She has worked in short and feature films, TV series, theater, advertising, events, to name a few. As a Production Designer, her main focus is on feature films. She also has authorial research in visual arts and teaches free courses of Production Design. She is a member of Brada - Women Production Designers of Brazil, ABC - Brazilian Cinematography Association and PDC - Production Designers Collective.

Gabrielle Lopes - Actress
Gabrielle Lopes is a Brazilian actress, born in Brasília/DF. Gabrielle has a degree in Performing Arts from Lansing Community College (Michigan, USA) and is majoring in Theatre at the University of Brasilia (UNB). Lopes received several "Best Actress" awards for the films "Spring is Beautiful and I Don't See It* (Ricardo Peres, 2019), "The Strongest" (Paulo Miranda, 2009) and for the play "The Odd Couple" (at Owosso High School in Michigan/USA). Gabrielle acted in many feature films such as"Like Our Parents" (Laís Bodanzky, 2017), "Big Jato" (Cláudio Assis, 2016), "The Conception" (José Eduardo Belmonte, 2005), among others. She also acted in the short films and television series: "The Absent Ones" (HBO Max), "Jailers" (TV Globo), "Routes Of Hate" (Universal), "Therapy Session "(GNT), "Alice" (HBO) and many more.

Mima Mizukami - Make up Artist
Mima Mizukami loves creating and meeting people. She is a makeup artist graduated in Social Communication and specialized in makeup at the Cinema Makeup School in Los Angeles, where she studied and learned beauty makeup techniques for HD, 4k, Characterization, Prosthetics and Special Effects for makeup. Awarded in 2007 at the Avon Makeup Award in the Video Clip category, for the clip "Eu Sou Dela" by Nando Reis and recent video clips for Criolo "Sistema Obtuso", "Boca de Lobo" and Emicida "Silêncio". David Bowie's musical Lazarus, directed by Felipe Hirsch and 2019 was one of Visagismo's achievements as an artist. In cinema and feature films; Bacurau 2019, Hebe 2019, Cine Holliúdy, Rio Heroes series, 2019, Mundo Misterio 2018. Mima carried out makeup work in advertising films, beauty, characterization and Special Effects makeup, feature films and TV series.

About the Organizer:

Brada is a collective of Women Production Designers of Brazil founded in 2020 and since then has brought together over 150 women from different regions of the country. The desire and need for collaboration and community led to the formation of the group. The members have a common interest in researching, discussing and promoting the importance of production design in the Brazilian and international spheres, with the goal of seeking equity, solidarity and cooperation in the audiovisual industry. In 3 years, Brada has articulated a series of initiatives dedicated to advocating for the recognition, visibility and appreciation of production design in the construction of visual storytelling, such as roundtable discussions, festival awards, as well as educational and research activities.
