'Another Two Days in Copenhagen - colleagues meeting on production design' welcomes for the 6th time to a seminar for craftsmen.

During a weekend we will meet again; forget about the everyday life, focus on fiction for TV and films in the darkness of the movie theatre.

James Chinlund (USA), award winning production designer on “Requiem for a Dream”, “Avengers”, “Dawn of the Planet of the Apes" among others, as well as Maria Djurkovic (UK), award winning production designer on “Billy Elliot”, “Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy” and “The Imitation Game” is this year's line-up.

Selected film clips will be shown and approaches to the craft will be discussed, process material will be shown and mixed with questions from the enthusiastic audience in the movie theatre - all moderated by afficionado and film critic Christian Monggaard.

About the Organizer:

Another Two days in Copenhagen - colleagues meeting on production design is initiated by Danish Designers for Stage and Screen in collaboration with The National Film School of Denmark with financial support from Foundation for the Stage and Screen Designers Foundation.

Danish Designers for Stage and Screen unionizes stage designers, production designers, lighting designers, sound designers and costume designers. We safeguard the professional and artistic interests of our members and make collective agreements with the theatres, or theatre organizations, the Danish Television and film industry.

Danish Designers for Stage and Screen is engaged in training- and additional education-policy, cooperating with the Danish National School of Performing Arts and The National Film School of Denmark. Almost 100% of the active scenographers in Denmark are members of Danish Designers for Stage and Screen. The National Film School of Denmark (The Continuing Education programme) organizes courses, masterclasses, workshops, and other industry events that expand and improve the skills of those of you who already work in the film, TV and games industry. The Continuing Education programme organizes around 40 events annually, and has been active for more than two decades with high ambitions for the future.
