Join the Production Design for Stage and Screen team, along with VFX and Model Making lecturers, as they celebrate Production Design Week!
Starting with a discussion around the 'Page to Screen' exhibition, which was created for The Darlington Hippodrome Theatre. This body of work predominantly focuses on the theatre design process.
The exhibition continues with a tour of the newly opened Scott Building which will showcase the workshops, where full scale scenery is constructed and range of TV and film designs by students. The BA (Hons) Production Design for Stage and Screen programme is one of the few courses in the UK which takes production design from research and concept art to technical drawing and full scale scenic construction.
