The sets, props and costumes idealized and materialized to make up the diegetic universe of an audiovisual work have their existences focused on a brief moment when they are captured by the camera. Is important to to think about the fate of such materials after this moment, as well as ways to optimizing processes and reflecting on the raw materials used in such ephemeral creations, especially at a time when we are faced with clear signs that the extraction of resources that structure the contemporary way of life is unsustainable.
