Brada* is here to extend a heartfelt invitation to you and your organization to join us in the Production Design Fusion Toast, so, are you ready to celebrate PD together?
The concept is simple:
every country, in accordance with its own local time and schedule, will organize celebratory gatherings on the IPDW, capture these memorable moments, and share them across various social media platforms using the following hashtags: #ProductionDesignToast and #celebratePD In Brazil, Brada chose the date October 27th to celebrate our national toast! Anyone who wants to join us on this date will be AMAZING! But don’t worry!!! You can choose to celebrate any other day and we will still be able to connect virtually! Don’t forget to include the #s!!! They are essential, as that is how we will be able to connect with each from all around the world!!! Who knows, perhaps with our collective efforts, we'll be able to create in 2023, the International Production Design Day! We are very excited for this initiative and hope you share in our excitement and join us in this global celebration of Production Design! About the Organizer:
Brada is a collective of Women Production Designers of Brazil founded in 2020 and since then has brought together over 150 women from different regions of the country. The desire and need for collaboration and community led to the formation of the group. The members have a common interest in researching, discussing and promoting the importance of production design in the Brazilian and international spheres, with the goal of seeking equity, solidarity and cooperation in the audiovisual industry. In 3 years, Brada has articulated a series of initiatives dedicated to advocating for the recognition, visibility and appreciation of production design in the construction of visual storytelling, such as roundtable discussions, festival awards, as well as educational and research activities.
