October 21
10:00 - 14:00 CST
Aula de Cómputo - Pohualizcalli, Escuela de Cine Comunitario y Fotografía / Calzada Ermita 1385, San Pablo 9000
Mexico City, Mexico

Explore the principles of Set Design as a narrative and visual tool in filmmaking. In this workshop, students will analyze how architecture and scenic design impact audiovisual production and develop skills to conceptualize and bring cinematic sets to life.

Through a theoretical-practical exercise, students will learn to interpret a script from a production design perspective, create sketches and technical plans, select materials, and collaborate with other departments to build functional and cinematic sets. A unique opportunity to transform ideas into spaces that tell stories on screen.
