Production Design Week

Sketch and Talk

Munich, Germany
October 22
14:30 – 16:30 CET
German
HFF Munich
Bernd-Eichinger-Platz 1, 80333 Munich
An informal meetup for anyone who wants to just go outside or sit in a cafe together and sketch - really depending on the mood, the group and the weather.

This will be a two hour session and all that is needed is a sketch book and some pencils - or whatever is your preferred medium. No special skills needed either - just fun and wanting to connect to other people while sketching. To me sketching is a good way to get inspired by others and to meet more creative people, but also a way to find calmness in the city even when I am surrounded by people.

The below photo shows the building where we are meeting in front of. Please e-mail me so I can see how many people we are. Looking forward to seeing you - pencil or brush in hand!

About the Organizer:

I just finished film school last year and am currently starting out in the industry. It is my goal to make production design more visible and accessible. I am an avid reader and fantasy nerd - a can give great book recommendations. I also hope that maybe in the future the film school in Munich (HFF) can have production design as part of their curriculum again.

VSK - Verband für Szenen und Kostümbild is the Germany association for production and costume design, which connects us all and helps in showing more of what we do to other departments and the public.
