The Interface Between Production Design and VFX in Film Design

October 18
14:00 BRT
Brazil

Using the case study of the feature film D.P.A. 4 – The Fantastic Kingdom of Ondion, the production designer Valéria Costa and set designer Emilia Merhy present the importance of the partnership between production design and visual effects supervision in projects where the set design is predominantly digital.

Visual effects expand narrative possibilities and open up new avenues for audiovisual creation, provided they are based on solid references and guided by the visual concept established by the production designer. This ensures aesthetic unity across all stages of production and the various departments involved in creating the image.

The event is organized by Valeria Costa, Tainá Xavier, Amanda De Stéfani.
